What would you prefer when it comes to "quantity against quality"..

1) We put a strictly limited CD release but with 'more quality' such as different packaging, bonus tracks and extras, but as a consequence, the selling price would be a little bit higher.. This works more as a merchandise rather than the physical form of music itself..

2) We have a regular packaging (nothing-special) CD release, but it is not limited.. so anyone can get it at a cheaper price..

Let's discuss..

Bear in mind, that either the limited-edition/special CD or the regular CD will be accompanied with a by-donation/free-download version (with a lesser number of tracks) for the ones that don't want to pay too much to get the music..

I think go for 1).... I think that the merch aspect of it will make it that much cooler... lol

these days where people buy less music I'd go for option 1,
those still willing to pay, gladly pay a couple of bucks more for a quality product
